The upstairs restrooms are getting a much-needed facelift. During the demolition and remodel, please be aware that available restrooms will be located on the first floor. There is an elevator available. 

The construction timeline may fluctuate due to shipping times. Located just a ½ block from Main Street, the Ouray Conference & Community Center is a perfect place to host your meetings, family reunions, wedding receptions, retreats, parties, and conferences. With two rooms available, the Center can accommodate groups as small as five, and up to 360 people. The Center offers a commercial-grade catering kitchen and is ADA-accessible to both rooms by elevator. Let us help you plan your next event in Ouray! Please follow the links below to find out more.

Ouray has hosted conferences and/or events for groups from five to 360 people. There are two meeting rooms available.

Picture Button The San Juan Room

The San Juan Room is a warm and inviting room, which offers many windows and wood floors. It has hosted many wedding receptions, birthday parties, meetings, and retreats. It also offers a small kitchen area suitable for a light meal and beverage set-up. We offer a variety of tables, folding chairs, linens, as well as audio/visual equipment, so the room can be set up to your specifications. The room can accommodate up to 80 people so it is a perfect location for an intimate gathering.

The Massard Room is the largest of the rooms at the Ouray Conference & Community Center. It is the perfect size room to host larger events as it can accommodate over 280 people. Over the years, it has hosted numerous wedding receptions, dances, school functions, community presentations, political debates, and non-profit fundraisers. It is a very versatile room with many options for your event. There is a fully equipped commercial kitchen in the Massard Room with convenient serving areas for food and beverages. We offer a variety of tables, folding chairs, linens, as well as audio/visual equipment, so the room can be set up to your specifications.

Picture Button The Massard Commercial Kitchen

The catering kitchen is located in the Massard Room. It is a fully equipped commercial-grade kitchen that is certified by the Department of Health. Caterers can prepare and serve food on-site which makes hosting events that much easier. The kitchen is stocked with enough place settings to feed up to 280 people. This is an add-on option to your event.

Other Event Permits

Liquor, wine, or beer cannot be sold or given away at a public event without first applying for a Special Event Permit. Such a permit can also be obtained from the  CITY DEPUTY CLERK/TREASURER. It is important that you plan ahead since this process takes a minimum of six (6) weeks for approval from the State Licensing Board. CLICK HERE for more information. Application listed below.
